ChatGPT vs Claude vs Gemini for Long-Form Content: My 6-Month Test Results
I've spent the last 6 months systematically testing ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini for long-form content creation. Here are my honest results. For blog posts over 2,000 words, Claude wins by a significant margin. Its ability to maintain a consistent voice throughout a long piece is unmatched. It also handles nuance better and rarely produces the generic, listicle-style content that ChatGPT defaults to.For short-form content like social media posts, email subject lines, and ad copy, ChatGPT is still my go-to. The speed and variety of outputs is excellent, and the newer models have gotten much better at brand voice.Gemini surprised me with its research capabilities. When I need to write content that requires synthesizing multiple sources, Gemini's integration with Google Search gives it a real edge. The content is more factually grounded. My current workflow: Gemini for research and outlining, Claude for drafting, ChatGPT for repurposing and variations. One thing all three struggle with: truly original angles. They all tend toward the same conventional wisdom on any given topic. The best AI content comes when you give them a unique angle or contrarian take to work with. What's your experience been? Which model do you prefer for different content types?
