Midjourney hands still broken? Share your fix prompts

I know Midjourney v6 was supposed to dramatically improve hands, and it has gotten better, but I'm still getting 6 fingers or weirdly merged thumbs when I prompt for anything involving hands holding objects.

My current prompt structure: portrait of a woman holding a coffee cup, natural lighting, photorealistic --v 6 --ar 2:3

Results are about 50/50. Sometimes perfect, sometimes nightmare fuel.

Questions for the community:

• Do you use negative prompts for hands? What works?
• Any specific prompt additions that guarantee better results?
• Do you just use Photoshop generative fill to fix hands in post?
• Is there a specific model or style that handles hands better?
